Dextretch.

DexShell’s patented 4 way stretch lamination process (DEXTRETCHTM) provides greater freedom to enable the user to be more active. The sock outer and inner components with our engineered fabric composition are laminated with the membrane interlining by the micro dotting process to feature greater stretch in both warp and weft directions allowing the composite fabric to be far more flexible and in turn providing wearers snug and comfy fit.

Durable. Waterproof.

Since its inception, DexShell has been closely working with Porelle Membranes being the strategic partnership. Porelle is a range of high spec waterproof breathable membranes for use in quality performance outerwear. The Porelle membrane that DexShell selects to use is a type of hydrophilic membrane in solid microstructure which therefore is much more durable than the microporous type of membranes (in sponge structure).  Using the Porelle membrane as interlining layer, DexShell has created a wide array of waterproof breathable apparel accessories featuring comfort and snug fit.

DexFuze.

DexShell DEXFUZETM technology was first developed in 2018. The technology bonds the performance glove liner and the ergonomic outer shell together by our micro dotting lamination process with the waterproof breathable membrane sandwiched in between. This unique construction eliminates the movement between the fabric layers and provides much better fit and handling dexterity to wearers thus significantly enhances the hand control and grip.

DexLok.

DexShell patent pending DEXLOKTM technology was developed for stopping water from coming into the sock at the top and from soaking in when it is immersed. This design provides a real sense of being 100% waterproof and enables users to stay completely dry across and in the river.

Without Leakage.

In the Hydrostatic Head Test DexShell pits its competitors against its impressive waterproof materials. The higher the hydrostatic head value the more water resistant the fabric is. For any fabric to be valued as fully waterproof it should withstand the pressure of a column of water 10,000mm high without leakage. The Porelle membrane that DexShell use exceeds this by far.

Porelle® Membranes

Porelle® waterproof breathable membranes have been engineered for lamination to create high performance fabrics for different market applications. These durable membranes are also resistant to a range of chemicals and weak acids. DexShell selects a line of Porelle® membrane with the WVP 15,000 g/m2.day ASTM E96:95

Porelle membranes are manufactured by PIL Membranes Ltd with over 40 years’ experience in the marketplace. Porelle® is the registered trademark of KL Technologies Group Limited.

drirelease® technology.

drirelease® technology uses an engineered blend of multi-denier, multi-staple length hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers to keep wearers dry, cool and comfortable. The unique blend of synthetic and natural fibers in drirelease® yarn actually accelerates the water release rate. The drirelease® WOOL blend is as warm as 100% wool without the itch. The wearer never feels clammy against the skin. The drirelease® DriFil is a new technology which optimizes both the comfort and durability. drirelease® is the registered trademark of Optimer Brands.

Coolmax® Yarns

COOLMAX® is the performance yarn that includes an effective fiber based moisture management system. The system can move perspiration away from the body, through the fabric, and transfer out of the wear. It can evaporate quickly, allowing the wearer to feel cooler and much more comfortable. COOLMAX® fresh FX has the permanent anti-bacterial performance due to the special treatment by silver-based additive during production. COOLMAX® is the registered trademark of Invista®.

Merino Wool

Warm, breathable, moisture repellent and anti-static, Merino has the capacity to deal with moisture like no other yarns, absorbing perspiration and releasing it into the air as vapor. It is naturally odor resistant too. Luxuriously soft and gentle against the skin, it reacts to your body’s temperature, keeping you warm when it’s cold and releasing body heat and moisture when it’s hot. The natural elasticity and resilience of Merino wool enables it to spring back into shape with ease.

Bamboo Rayon

Known for being incredibly soft, Bamboo Rayon is anti-static and sits well next to your skin. It is moisture-wicking to keep you drier. Antibacterial. Its warm thanks to its hollow fiber yet also breathable so that it performs well in all temperatures. It grows naturally, needs very little rain to produce rapidly, and is 100% biodegradable.
